What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, the subject of your enquiry and your message. Your name, email address and message are required. Without them we cannot reply to you.
When you visit the site, our servers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Every website does this to deliver its pages and keep them secure.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry to reply to you and, where it concerns one of our companies, to pass it to that company. We use technical information to run the site, keep it secure and fix faults. We do not use your data for marketing, and we do not sell it.
Our legal basis
We process your enquiry on the basis of the consent you give when you send it. We process technical information on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure website that works.
Who receives it
Your enquiry is read by the Tara Holding staff who need it to reply. If it concerns Abdullah Alkadi Company, Hislo or Urban Eats, we share it with that company. Our website and its records are hosted by our software provider, Odoo, which processes data only on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
Services from other providers
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, and the Contact page shows a map from Google Maps. When these load, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address under its own privacy policy. Links to our companies’ websites and to social media pages lead to services that have their own privacy policies.
Data outside the Kingdom
Our service providers may store or process data outside Saudi Arabia. Where this happens, we apply the safeguards that the Personal Data Protection Law requires.
Cookies
The site uses the cookies it needs to work, for example to keep your session secure and to remember your language. It does not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a proper record of our correspondence. We then delete it from our systems. Technical records are kept for a short period for security and then deleted.
How we protect it
Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need them. The site uses encrypted connections, and our provider applies security controls to its systems.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to know how your data is used, to access it, to have it corrected or completed, to have it destroyed when it is no longer needed, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, write to info@taraholding.com.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
